This shows that having a mobile version for a website would be the most beneficial thing to do since people would most presumably open websites via their smartphones. Mr. Witono has a web folio  which showcases the projects he did with Milkyway Studio. Upon stumbling his web folio, he attached his email for business inquiries, and I emailed him to get an interview. The details for the portfolio has a standard look. It got a cover page that is the same as the thumbnail seen on the featured page. The name of the project and the year the work was created is plastered there.  Using full-screen pictures is an effective way in web designing to capture people's attention. Like on Molly and Me Pecans , we are immediately gobsmacked by a huge picture of their delicious snack, which makes us more attracted to the brand and curious to learn more about what the brand offers. Selection of this all-important asset is absolutely crucial, as it can make or break a user's emotional connection with the brand. Make sure it bears strong relevance to the actual subject matter wherever possible. Joza Bayu is the creative director of GREY Indonesia. GREY Group is a well known creative agency, a 103-year old global advertising, and marketing company. I first know GREY Indonesia from one of my friends. She had the opportunity to be interning as a graphic designer in the company earlier last year and worked under Mr. Bayu's supervision. Mr. Evanggala Rasuli is the lead creative strategist in a company called TADOtv in Indonesia. He works with an innovative team and is in charge of leading, supervising, and managing them in a project. I found Mr. Rasuli via his LinkedIn profile when I was searching for a potential creative strategist I could interview. When creating a portfolio website, it would be such a hassle to create and design each page for different portfolios. The smart way to tackle this problem is to create one 'template' for your portfolio details, and inputting the content into a database.  Adminer is a tool for managing content in MySQL databases.  Primarily, Adminer allows you to manage the content of your website through a table-like database, where you can easily add, remove and change the subject matter. Here you can see my Adminer database. It has two databases, one to represent the content for the portfolio details, and the other is for the gallery.   This is the porto_info database. On the home page of kweestin.com , you will see this sector under the general portfolio area. This part is a smaller section of a dedicated 'about' page.  When clicking on the "more about me?" button, you will be directed to my 'about' page, where you can get to know me more. You will also be able to click on another button, which will lead you to a pdf where you can download my curriculum vitae. I personally think that letting your potential employer know and understand you is essential. It will allow people to understand how you do your work, your skills, what you are interested in, what your beliefs in, and what your limits are.

When you open kweestin.com , you will be directed to the home page (index.php). And when you scroll down to the second section of the page, you will stumble upon the portfolio area. The reason why I do not have a portfolio section filled with all my projects is that I want to focus on showing only the works that relate to my career choice and my 'specialty.' You will also see that to see my 'full portfolio', you are redirected to my Behance page . There, I will be posting and updating projects that are more diverse and unrelated to only videos that I direct. One of the reasons I chose to do this is because I considered Ms. Karenina's interview I posted previously. She mentioned focusing on the works that you want people to know you for (ex: video editing works for someone who wants to work as a video editor, etc.) So I want to focus on what I think I do best and what I want people to know me for, hence, the only video portfolio.

IRIE is the final project of an interactive experimental short movie created by two of my friends and myself for our Design Studio 2 subject. The word 'Irie' comes from a Jamaican English slang, usually to express a general term of approval (nice, good, or pleasing). Although the plot of the movie is not as nice, good, or pleasing, we chose the word nevertheless because we want to emphasize on the expression and feelings to whoever is watching. Yes, this is another post about me exciting on another Netflix original series. As someone who spends most of her downtime watching movies, Netflix became one of the top options to scroll through for film or series.  If you are subscribed to Netflix, or you are just up to date with pop culture, you must have heard about a British science fiction anthology television series called Black Mirror. Like my previous post about Love, Death + Robots , Black Mirror is also an anthological series, which means that every episode will tell a different and unrelated series. Black Mirror explores modern society, particularly concerning the unforeseen consequences of new technologies. Episodes are standalone, usually set in an alternative instant or the near future, often with a dark and ironic tone, although some are more experimental and lighter. Although technically it is not a cinematographical movie (some but not all), the series itself became one of the unique series ever created in Netflix's history. So for our Professional Portfolio class, we were asked to create a web folio to showcase our projects that relate to the career path we chose. I picked the name kweestin.com (edit on the 17th of March: website is now live) as my domain name. I will explain more in detail why I picked that name below. So the first thing I kept in mind when I create it is, how do I want this portfolio to represent who I am. Does it fit with my career path? So I started with designing the look and structure of it. For one of our Professional Practice Portfolio class task, the students were asked to create and update a blog about the subject. The assignments for this subject include (but not limited to) creating a website portfolio, updating our blog about our progress, picking a 'career-path' and interviewing appropriate experts of your field-of-choosings (about how they think someone like you/them need to have a good portfolio). One of my family's tradition to do every week is to watch a movie together. It can be in the cinema or at home, but we would always spend time together doing so.
